The most rewarding thing in the garden is starting something from seed and watching it grow. To me it’s almost instant gratification because after just a couple days a sprout will emerge and I start to get so excited of what’s to come. A couple of months ago I tried to start some seeds indoors without a grow light, they failed, but I learned from my mistakes. Luckily though I’m in zone 7b and it’s time to start directly sowing seeds outdoors, now that I can do!
For all my readers in zones 7a and down let’s talk about what we can plant right now! [If you’re unsure what plant hardiness zone you’re in you can search with your zip code here: USDA Plant Hardiness Zone Map]
- Brussels Sprout
- Potato Seeds
- Sweet Potatoes
If you’re unsure how you should plant each specific seed, all seed packets provide that information for you on the back of the packet.
So what are you waiting for?? Let’s get outside and start planting!
