When you are raising your own backyard chickens there will come times when you have an over flowing abundance of eggs and you wont have a single complaint! Eggs do become more than just a breakfast food though, such a luxury!
Today I just wanted to share and quick and easy Quiche recipe. It’s so easy why not get your kids in the kitchen to help!
- 1 9 -inch refrigerated pie dough
- 2 cups filling ingredients [sausage, bacon, ham, spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms, onions, ect]
- 4-6 eggs
- 2 cups half and half
- Basil, parsley, salt, and pepper to taste
- Desired type of cheese [cheddar, mozzarella, gouda, colby jack, ect]
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line your greased pie pan with the crust. Prick bottoms and sides. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
While your crust is baking prep your filling ingredients and wisk together your eggs, half and half, and seasonings.
Fill pie crust with fillings. Top with egg mixture. Cover sides of crust with foil.
Bake for 35-40 minutes. Top with cheese and Enjoy!
